This is a British song which was in the Eurovision contest in 2006 in Athens.
Daz Sampson, the singer finished 19th out of the 24 contestants
The winning contestant was the scary Finnish LORDI, coming right out from a scene of the LORD OF the RINGS : remember their costumes ?
Although Daz did a poor performance in the Eurovision, he enjoyed some success in the British charts
It's a song about school. It has not reached the fame of ANOTHER BRICK ON THE WALL, the single by PINK FLOYD, a protest song against abusive teachers. But
the song and the topic appealed to my students when we studied it. Actually they're quite fussy about songs we can study ! and they especially enjoyed the video, in which the choregraphy is inspired by mangas in their choice of outfits
Beware ! the music is quite catchy !
