Paul McCartney is a big fan of them
They come from Liverpool (that may be why Liverpudlian Mccartney is a fan !)

Joy Division was a punk rock group in 1978. the group disappeared when their leader committed suicide during the recording of their second album
JOY DIVISION was used to refer to the Concentration Camp brothels during World war II
The Wombats refer to one of Joy Division's best song several times in their single
"love will tear us apart"
Their message is "Have fun even if everything is not going too well !"
